Founded in 2006, the service offers both free and paid web hosting, with features that include CPanel and MySQL database support. This service also offers an affiliate program that allows people to earn commissions for recruiting other registered users.

000WebHost offers an option for website publishers that can be quite appealing. For those who are publishing websites that don’t need too much space, the service offers to host their sites for free. Though there are other services that offer free hosting, this one does so without conditional advertising on the sites.

For the free hosting option at 000WebHost, you get 1500 MB of disk space for your websites, plus 100 gigabytes per month of data transfer. In addition to this, you get to manage your websites through the popular CPanel system, which most people are comfortable using.

There are, of course, distinct advantages to using the 000WebHost paid service at .84 per month. With paid membership, you get unlimited disk space instead of only 1500 MB, plus you get unlimited add-on domains and sub-domains, whereas with the free membership you are limited to 5 of each of these. With paid membership, you also get access to CPanel Pro, which improves on the original CPanel with such things as image editing capabilities and increased website security features.

000WebHost offers an affiliate program that allows people to earn for every person that they recruit to the program. Recruits must become registered users in order to qualify as referrals, and the minimum commission payout is 0. It’s not necessary to be a registered user in order to earn commissions for signing people up to the service.

There is mixed feedback on 000WebHost. Some of the people who use the service simply for the hosting have positive things to say, but there have been some issues raised about account cancellation without warning. The biggest complaints seem to be about the affiliate program, with more than a few affiliates claiming that they either never got paid their commissions, or have been waiting longer than they should have. Back in those times 000webhost is my primary web hosting. They offer free web hosting and free services that other paid web hosting has.

The only problem is I when I got inactive for about a year and decided to visit it again, to my surprise, my account has already been deleted by them. All my files we’re gone. I still have a backup but it disappoints me to the point that I will start all over again.

So, now I still use their web hosting but a bit cautious, always making a backup every month.

000webhost is still good after a few years.
